Getting error “Value cannot be null” while opening SQL Server Management Studio.

Error :
Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: viewInfo (Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlStudio.Explorer)

Root Cause:
TEMP path of your environment variable is incorrect.

Resolution:
1. Open CMD and type set T.

Getting error “Value cannot be null” while opening SQL Server Management Studio.
2. Check if TEMP and TMP variable paths are correct. If Not then Edit the environment variable and correct the TEMP variable path.
3. My Computer > Right Click > Properties. And then choose “Advanced”. Then click on “Environment Variables”

4. Now, change TMP and TEMP to valid location. On my machines its “%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp”
5. Logoff and re-login to the server.
